There used to be a page here called "I
Remember", but I realized I don't remember half the things I type anyways,
I'd rather put my beliefs (non-religious)
that friendship is one of those things where you really do have to be there for each other. A friend is someone that you can come to when you need them and talk to them. But more importantly, a friend is someone that you come to even when you don't need them to talk to.that love is like God (note: I'm not religious), we really don't know what it is, but the fact that we do believe in it means that there is a word to describe the feeling that we just can't explain. We just believe it's there and that it'll always be there.
that you need friends to help you out when you need to figure something out, but the battle that you must face for yourself is finding yourself.
that people tend to overlook the basic things. People complain about how someone is "lame in the sack" or "a bad kisser", but people really don't know how to hug anymore. There's a difference between a pat on the back, wrapping one arm around someone's neck and actually having a full, warm embrace. I wish people would just take the extra 10 seconds to extend both arms and actually hug.
